BRANISLAV KROPILAK

Born in Slovakia, Branislav spent most of his childhood in Belgium, travelling a lot with his parents
from an early age. He graduated at the Private Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava and then spent
some years working for the top creative agencies in Prague.

The main theme of his work is investigating the intimate relationship between humans and technology.
He is inspired by industrial design, architecture and urbanism. The utopian bent of his work with its
appreciation of geometry and perspective already earned him a solid base of collectors.

In 2009, Branislav won the 2nd prize at the Sony World Photography Awards in Cannes.
